Our tutoring rates range from £35 to £50 per hour, depending on the rates the tutors set. We operate on a pay as you go basis, so parents only pay for each lesson a few days in advance rather than committing to large upfront packages. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, so you do not have to worry about safety, privacy, or complicated payment arrangements. No hidden fees, no long term commitments.

All EduStep tutors are DBS verified and carefully selected through a rigorous two stage assessment process. We work with a limited number of tutors who are evaluated not only on their subject knowledge, but also on their ability to teach in an engaging and effective way. A key part of our selection focuses on how well tutors understand UK exam board expectations, ensuring they can train students to answer questions to the standard examiners require.

If a lesson has been scheduled but not yet paid for, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
For paid lessons, payment confirms the tutor’s time and preparation. As a result, missed lessons or last-minute cancellations may not be eligible for a refund. Refunds or rescheduling in these cases are at the tutor’s discretion and depend on the notice given and individual circumstances.
